White Oak Mantle
Just a simple, live edge white oak mantle. Started from a couple pieces of 8/4 stock. One piece was used for the majority of the mantle and the live edge, and the other piece was jointed to give an extra couple of inches for depth. Finished with semi-gloss, water-based polyurethane. What actually makes this project special is that it's the last piece of furniture needed to complete the new house as well as being the first project to come out of my new workshop!
